Mary then stepped forward. “If you’ll allow me a little poetic licence, there is a parallel in nature that might help people understand what is happening to your planet. It is going to look chaotic. To many, it will feel like the end of civilisation as they’ve known it. Because it will be. The pandemic was only the beginning of a change in the way you live. Life will never return to the way it was.”
“Transformation is a paradise for the butterfly. But it’s death for the caterpillar”
“A caterpillar is a young butterfly with a narrow focus of interest. It enjoys feasting on the leaves of a vegetable garden. Being young, it can’t see beyond its own self-interest. So it ignores the damage it is doing to the garden.”
“The caterpillar has millions of cells, each of them working towards helping it function in the world. Suddenly, the caterpillar’s movement grinds to a halt. Its systems fail. Its food delivery doesn’t work, and it can’t get enough to eat. Its energy system also fails. The cells have lost their purpose. There’s no work. The very structure they have been supporting is disintegrating. The cells feel lost. They just sit around in a depressed huddle with no idea what to do.”
“From amongst those cells, there arise some cells that can see beyond the narrow, selfish focus of gorging itself. They can see a brighter future, a new structure, more beautiful than the caterpillar. They inspire the other cells to get off their pity pots and get going to create this new structure. From their vision comes a butterfly, a colourful creature which flies, sips nectar, pollinates flowers and brings beauty and joy to the world.”
“I presume the caterpillar represents humanity, Mary, and each cell represents an individual. The group with the positive vision represents the lightworkers. But having the whole organism come to a halt sounds pretty scary. Could you give me a little more detail?”
“To give you an idea, here’s a short list of institutions that currently dominate your caterpillar world. Multinational companies that enrich billionaires and company executives at the expense of workers and customers. Banks that charge high rates of interest on credit cards, lock people into thirty-year mortgages, and sell them up if they can’t make their repayments. Central banks that create inflation and recessions. Religions that espouse patriarchal values, exclude minorities and push globalist policies. Businesses that exploit the poor. Totalitarian governments that rule with terror or military force. Corrupt democratic governments that try to rule by deception and coercion. Drug companies that put profits ahead of the health of the community. Healthcare systems that mandate toxic vaccines. Lawyers and judges who put political considerations ahead of justice, or who put their own interests ahead of those of their clients. Media that peddle fake news and censor truth. None of these institutions will operate in Butterfly Land.”
“Positive change starts from small beginnings. As you know, humans don’t like change. Initially, resistance will be high, but with time and exposure comes acceptance if it is beneficial. This process is still ongoing. The cells that see beyond the short-sighted, egotistical caterpillar vision are those who stand against the globalist narrative.”
